Self-catheterization

Self-catheterization with Curan

Self-catheterization using individually packaged, flexible catheters is known as intermittent catheterization. This allows you to regularly empty your bladder completely so that urine can leave your body safely. You have to do this on average four to six times a day; each time takes a few minutes.

Curan catheters are sterile

Curan catheters come in sterile packaging and are intended for single use. This means that every time you go to the toilet you use a new clean catheter. This is hygienic and prevents infections. Read more about hygiene during self-catheterization. [link to 1.5.4]
